Field Trip

Som-Lalit School’s Pre-Primary kids enjoyed their last Field Trip of academic year 2018-19 on 2nd March. Sr. KG. students were taken to educational field trip at The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel museum which was set up in the year 1978. The museum was later enhanced in 2013 by members of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial Society. The museum showcases artifacts and the belongings of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and also includes two multimedia halls that shed light on various aspects of Sardar’s life and work with interactive and experiential exhibits. The story outlines the Vedic period, the Mughal era, the British domination, the freedom struggle and the birth of free India. The show is a salutation to all our freedom fighters and martyrs. The show is a blend of the latest in technology with 3D building mapping projection techniques, laser projection, sound and light effects and a voice narrative. Students were mesmerized by having a glance over Sardar Patel’s entire life. They also decided to walk on the principles of Sardar Patel.

Students had live experience of the museum as it was restricted to capture it in a camera moment.

Holi Celebration

Students of Pre-Primary section were mesmerized to know the story behind one of the greatest Indian Festivals-HOLI. They were also made aware about the rituals followed on this particular day. Along with religious facts of Holi they were also taught about how to enjoy safe Dhuleti. Students had holi special breakfast i.e. Dates and Pop-Corn. Lastly they played organic Holi (only with water) with their class buddies. They all created most wonderful memory of enjoying holi together in their initial year of friendship. Little kids promised their respective class teacher to play holi with Gulal and water only under the eye of their parents.
Som-Lalit School is wishing you all a very colorful HOLI.
